Today is the saddest day I have ever had to live through. The most kindest and humane person that has ever lived has gone to play with her beloved Rocky. For those of you who had the honor of meeting this extraordinary woman I know that she had touched your heart with her great compassion for the boxers she saved. Donna had always done everything she set her mind to with the most enthusiasm and dedication. She always gave a maximum effort. Saving boxers was her passion and her life. Donna accomplished this without regard for her own wants and needs. Before and after her everyday job she spent every waking moment caring for her dogs. Whether it be cleaning out pens or on the phone trying to find a good home for them. Donna NEVER gave up!! Even as she fought for her own life she NEVER GAVE UP!! Today as I grieve for the passing of the finest woman I have ever known the world is grieving because they lost the greatest champion that the animal rescue movement has ever known.
In lieu of any flowers
Donna left some unpaid vet bills caring for the many dogs she loved and saved. Please send any donation to the Horse Rescue Relief and Retirement Fund who will be overseeing the payment of the vet bills and using the excess funds to help people who can not afford treatment for their animals.
